No. The course starts with how to hold the tools and how to sit, and goes as far as rebuilding a movement completely. That is why it is built on the 6497: large, easy to read, and sturdy enough for a first strip-down.

Yes, and it is the heart of the course: in the student area a question is asked at a precise moment of a video. It reaches the workshop with the chapter and the second, and the watchmaker answers it himself.
A table, good light and a little space are enough. The kit holds what the course needs; nothing else is required to finish it.
